    Deadlift training video 6/24/08

    This week's session. Deads with chains in a belt only and partial zerchers in the rack with no belt.

    wow man very impressive. never seen zerchers before...gonna try those, been trying to get my deadlift up i think those might help. AWESOME VID BUD

    Thanks. That is just one variation of the lift. Sometimes I do them free standing, where I bring the bar down until it touches my thighs and then I come back up. Some people do them from off the floor which is very difficult. Good luck with them and work up lightly...they can be hell on your forearms.

    Haven't seen chains before, I'm gathering that they make the bar heavier as you lift it higher?

    those zerchers were crazy man. i think my arms would've fallen off

    Chains serve the same purpose as bands, they just have a different feel to them. Chains feel more natural like straight weight IMO. But yes, as the bar moves further from the floor, the overall weight gets heavier.

    sickly speed on the deads Chris, and disgusting zerchers. Anything over 135 makes my elbows cry...

    man tried zerchers today after deadlifts. i love em man thanks

    I did 120kg/264lbs partial zerchers with padding and my arms still hurt.
