Cardio to shed a little fat

I was wondering what type of cardio is the best to shed a little fat and no muscle. Whether it be hard and fast and really raise your heart beat for a short time (for instance running). Or slow like a brink walk or slow job for a long period of time. Also how long should it last. I just want shed a little fat and low my body fat percentage. Also whend doing cardio should I do on my off day or after I workout? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

stair stepper, long distance running (if ur trying to just lose weight and dont care about bodybuilding), jumping rope (excellent), some bikes, the list goes on. hey also try circuit training, that'll get ur heart going.

want cardiovascular? try 20 and 40 rep squats with heavy weight

    Foot up TCD's ass
The best IMO is get on a treadmill and set it on a steep incline and do a brisk walk for 30min. I get shin splints really bad so thats the best cardio for me. But as far as whats best for you just whatever you like that keeps your heart rate up for 30min.
