    Tennis elbow?

    So I was an idiot and arm wrestled some people at work last week, and around the 5th guy I felt my arm tweak where the joint is. It's not a real bad pain but enough to hamper things, especially when I did flyes tonight (won't do them again).

    I'm going to take an anti-inflammatory and hope for the best, but around how long does this last for those of you who have injured yourselves in a similar way?
    22 - 5'10@236lbs!
    Bench - 325 (old)
    Squat - 455x2 (old)
    Deadlift - 500(old)

    Total: 1280lbs 100% raw

    in all honesty.. high rep light hammer curls and pressdowns really do a number on tendonitis and tennis elbow in general. Has helped me out MANY times over the years. Do them as a warmup before any work that aggrevates it and as soon as it flares up during lifting, do some more hammers and pressdowns to keep it away!

    Thanks, I'll give it a go. I'm not even sure it's tennis elbow, but if anyone here has ever arm wrestled I'm sure they know what I mean.

    I aggravated it again at work today. Pissed me off.

    rest + ice + a 3-5 day course of nsaids should take care of the acute problem. long high rep warm ups with light weight should help the long term healing
