    Bench press on floorboards..

Hey, i'm new here so not too sure where to post this, and nothing came up on the search function!
Well, i just got a bench press thing with other attachments and i was told that i am not supposed to put it on the floorboards as they might break... will this actually happen? (the weight is about 100kg + the weight of the bench)
    thanks.

With all the weight just sitting there, I wouldn't think it's a problem. But if you were to miss a lift, that could be a problem.

It is currently a fad, at this writing, for boys to think they need a "six pack", although most of them don't have an ice chest to put it in.
