The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Pulling; bar in palm or fingers

I was never really sure about the proper way to position the bar in my hand during certain exercises. For pulls (like deadlifts and pullups), I have the bar resting in my fingers. I feel like the correct way is to have the bar in my palm. I just feel like it's more comfortable wrapping my fingers around it. Any help?

I am the same way dude. About 10 yrs ago I got 2 of my fingers cut off at work, and then they reattached them. So my grip in my left hand is jacked anyway.

I've never understood how people can grip the bar in the palm of their hands... The bar sits at the base of my fingers right along my calouses.

Yep. Gotta file those calluses every now and then too.

It is currently a fad, at this writing, for boys to think they need a "six pack", although most of them don't have an ice chest to put it in.
