The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Nice work in here and great work on those Rack Pulls.

It has been a while since I have done any and you are inspiring me to try them again. Keep up the good work.

Some very nice numbers... and up to 213lbs... very well done sir... keep that all moving tho!

The rack pulls are getting impressive, and like the squat numbers too!

    Thanks Husky.

Some sad news. I went to the gym tonight to workout and there were numerous signs posted around the place. "The gym will CLOSE on March 12" WTF???????

Turns out the owner can't keep working the 12hr days 6x a week supervising the place. That and I think the cash flow was a little low.........dang, now I gotta find another gym to use.

Talked to a few guys and they were shocked too.

Oh well, managed to do my workout.

    THURSDAY FEB 25/10

    DL..............................8 x 205, 4 x 255, 2 x 275
    Dips............................3 x 6
    U.H. Pulldowns.............8 x 155, 4 x 180, 2 x 195
    Seated Cable Rows.......8 x 150, 4 x 165, 2 x 180
    DB Pullovers.................3 x 8 ~ 40
    Close-Grip Bench..........3 x 6 ~ 125

Did my stuff and left. Gonna miss that gym.

    Tonight's whatever..................

    MONDAY MAR 1/10

    Squats............................1 x 8 ~ 95, 145, 225 - 4 x 265, 2 x 285
    SLDLs.............................8 x 205, 4 x 225, 2 x 245
    1 Arm DB Presses.............1 x 6 ~ 45, 60, 65
    Wide Pulldowns.......................1 x 8 ~ 120, 140, 150, 165

That's it. Crappy workout really. Not feeling 100% to begin with. Felt tired. Went to the gym and half the stuff was gone. Sold. Cash and carry. WTF? Thought I had till next week. Oh well. Did what I could with what was left. Think I will have my final workout there on Thursday. Gonna join another gym in town. They are offering us guys a corporate rate if we join with them when Mike closes down. Not a bad offer. $10 less a month from what we are currently paying. Just gotta adjust to the new gym that's all. From what I hear, it's not really a Heavy gym...but it's about to become one!!!!

    Thanks John.

Went to Mike's. Got my 2" thick BB. Only a few items left in the place. Only one guy working out...well sort of. Don't know what he was using to do it. Sad really. Left there and went over to the other gym. Not too bad of a place. The weight room is large and bright.....DB's go up to 110.....not bad....Power Rack being used by some kiddies.......to be expected..........couple of older women using the leg curl machine........no one yelling out a set of DLs...........yup, just what I expected. This place needs some serious lifting to be done.....some real Kick-Ass numbers to be published........Some Balls-to-the-wall barfing sessions need to be had in there.

Too Bad I'm too old for that *****. LOL J/K!!

    Thursday I will start.

Hope they don't kick me out. hahahahaha

    Nice video Husky.

Got my first workout in at the new place. Just barely. Not feeling 100%. Tired everyday. Stiff too. Low grade flu of some sort. It's amazing how well you are in tune with your body as one gets older. Not much gas in the tank, so I took it easy with da weights.

    THURSDAY MAR 11/10

    Squats 1 x 8 ~ 95, 115, 135, 185
    SLDL 1 x 8 ~ 115, 135, 155, 165
    Lat. Pull 1 x 8 ~ 100, 120, 140
    BB Rows 1 x 6 ~ 115, 135, 145, 165
    Z. Squats 1 x 6 ~ 115, 125, 135

That's it. Was toast. Not a very busy gym I must say. It''ll do I guess. Now time to figure out what to do. I looking at this change of venue as a time to change my training. What am I training for now.........don't really know now that I ask myself that question...............hmmmmmm. Gonna have to think this over and implement in on Monday, hopefully fully rested and ready to tear up the new place.

Sounds good, time to switch to some Hardcore Bodybuilding....
Wax the whole body, Tan up and bleach your teeth, then strut around in a Speedo.

Like a Crazy Dark Tan and spray yourself in Orange Spray stuff to make your skin not even look Human.
And then Training wont really matter as long as your Diet is right.
