Finally get Back On-Line!!!!!! Been off for nearly a week! Damn Bell Sympatico Modem friggn died on me! First I was getting info from them that the local server was having troubles......days go buy with the same dumb recording....gggrrrr.....finally get a human and he agrees with me that the modem is toast (only 7 months old) New unit came today.......Anyways, I'm Back.

Now for the other story.........the gym that I just joined....the gym that I was just about to shake up.......the gym that I was just starting to figure out......JUST GOT SOLD!!!!!!!Can you believe it???? They close down this weekend!! WTF?????? Apparently the other hurting gym in town offered them some cash....and they took it. Now our town will be down to just two gyms (we had 4 a month ago) It looks like we will be very cramped in the new location..............I don't know how well it will sort out.....................................

Buy a barbell and weight. Do nothing but deads, zerchers, rows, and floor press, and militaries. OLD SCHOOL JACKED!

Damn man that's ridiculous. Cricket has a good idea. It may require you to innovate a bit, but you can do it. Easy for me to say/post, but don't be discouraged.

Still trying to figure out what to do...................I like the idea of doing my own thing in the basement.........but to buy a set, a bench and material to make my own Power Rack(I'm a Machinist )....I'm looking at close to $1000. Money I do not have at this time. New Mortgage is sooo damn Big. Even if I just got a set ($300) and do as Keenan suggested, I still have my kids/ wife to deal with. The basement is totally open with one area for the kids (TV/Game area) I know realistically that it would not work for me. Too many interruptions I fear.....

I'm going to try the next gym and see how it goes..................

    Tonight's workout

    THURSDAY MAR 25/10

    Squats........................1 x 5 ~ 95, 135, 185, 225, 245, 255
    SLDLs.........................1 x 5 ~ 115, 165, 215, 225
    1 Arm DB Press...........1 x 5 ~ 65, 70, 70, 75 Got IT!!
    Pulldowns..................1 x 8 ~ 100, 112.5, 125, 137.5, 150
    Rev. Curls...................2 x 8 ~ 60

Okay workout. Tried real hard to focus. Poor saps around me don't know about the sale of the gym yet. I got inside info and these guys are going to be shocked when it happens...oh well. C'est la vie.

I know what it's like to have the gym close down on you, happened to me twice. Good luck on finding a new stable gym to train at.

Tonight I took it easy. Pulled a muscle in my Back on the weekend. Hurt like a **** er!! Wife massaged it as best she could. Not too bad today, so it went like this.............................

    SLDLs.........................3 x 10 ~ 115
    1 Arm DB Presses...1 x 10 ~ 25, 30, 35
    DB Rows....................1 x 10 ~ 35, 40, 45

    THURSDAY APR 1/10

    Squats.......................1 x 3 ~ 95, 135, 185, 225, 255, 275 x 2, 295 x 1
    Military Press...............1 x 3 ~ 95, 115, 125, 135, 145

Haven't I seen this movie somewhere before?

Thanks guys. Can't wait to sort this crap out and get settled back into a proper routine. I feel so weak...........

A lot more stuff gone from the gym. No Power Rack. Half the plates are gone.Same with the DBs. GGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Messed around. Can't remember what all I did.....................

Gonna check out the new place on Thursday. If I don't like it (too crowded/ busy) then I'm gonna take Keenan's advice and buy a BB set of my own.

Went to try out the new digs.....................

    TUESDAY APR 20/10

    DLs - 4 x 10 ~ 115
    BB Rows - 4 x 10 ~ 115
    1 Arm DB Presses - 4 x 10 ~ 35
    Db Shrugs - 3 x 8 ~ 65
    DB Hammer Curls - 3 x 8 ~ 30

Took it easy. Not feeling 100% lately.......way too much stuff going on. Checked out the cramped quarters while I worked out. Observed the other members. Mostly "fitness" and Bicep "pumpers". No Power Rack. There is a Squat Rack that everybody seems to want to use. No real "lifting" (DLs etc..) area. A little cramped for space with all the combined equipment. Oh well, gonna have to forge out an area and show these kids some real lifting.
