    Deadlift training video 7/22/08

I think I look better in the Fusion suit, but I tried the Metal this week. It was a PR double for conventional, but I think I should be able to triple it.

You're looking bigger man. What's your weight up to?

When I train at night right now I am ~170-171. I'd say 168-169 in the morning.

Chris - do you find that the fusion allows you to get to the bar easier?

I have a Metal King Pro Deadlifter and I barely use it because I feel like my head is going to explode trying to get down to the bar and it forces me into a narrow stance. I know a lot of guys have had success with the Inzer Max DL so wondering if the fusion is similar?

Need to start pulling equipped more though, I know it will give me an extra 35-50 lbs once I get used to it.

Yes, I feel much more comfortable setting up in the Fusion. I think my fusion is a bit looser than the Metal though, so I'm not sure how it would be if it was gangsta tight.

I would love to be one of those guys who can pull 90-100 lbs more in a suit. I have been trying a bunch of different setups and stances, but have not figured it out yet.

Your lightning fast off the floor.
Which dead style do you compete with?? You seem to pull some good weight both conv. and sumo.

My best meet lifts were done sumo. My best conventional pull in a meet is only 500. My meet PR sumo is 540. I love to train both styles though.
