525x2, 475x6 Bench Press (RAW 2 Board) Training VIDEO

This is from this past weeks Bench workout which really went well.
It was the beginning of my preparation for the IPF/NAPF North American Bench Press Championships in Costa Rica this September.
I will be competing as a member of Team USA and I am really looking forward to this competition. Hopefully all the workouts leading up to this meet will be as solid as this one was.

Next week we do bench shirt work!

Have a great day & USA all the way!

REALLY, I always thought I had a shorter ROM.

I realize I dont get much of an arch, but I also compete in USAPL and NASA. So I have to be a little more technically precise.

Please enlighten me if I am misunderstanding the ROM comment.

    Have a great day!

    I appreciate the nice comment.
That was the best workout I have had in a month.
I wish it would happen more often.

Great lifting as always glad to see you got a handoff man you will see a huge difference in your bench now. When someone just puts the weights over your chest as opposed to straining to get the weight over you its a lot easier.it keeps you tight and helps you keep your arch having a good handoff. good job Buffman.

    Thanks Erik23

I agree a training partner helps.
Especially on the heavy sets with the handoffs, but I believe I am sometimes my own worst enemy by going heavy so often.
I do believe I am close to turning the corner and marching towards a 600 lb bench at 220.

    Have a great day!
