    The Midnighter... must... get... bigger!

So, here are some pics. I would love some criticism about my progress. I can tell a bit of a difference, but I'm pretty hard on myself, so it's hard to judge realistically. The first are from February where I weighed 147lbs, the second are from April where I weighed 152, and the last are from yesterday, where I weighed 166lbs.

Here are a few of my questions...

    - Any guesses on bodyfat? I'm thinking 16-18%.

    - Any areas it looks like I should work on? Other than the spare tire. Any areas that look like they're developing faster than others? Again, other than that spare tire...

    - Would it be good for me to keep bulking, or should I cut down a bit before proceeding? I've gained a bit of fat (to say the least). My ultimate goal is a lean (10%bf-ish) 170lbs by November, and a lean 180lbs within the next year.

What say you all? Don't be afraid to be ruthless.

Arms are much bigger. Keep at it. BF, I'd guess, ahhhh, maybe 17%.

Thanks, man. My arms were an area I wasn't seeing much progress. Glad to know that's not the case!

17% sounds pretty accurate... I keep most of the fat in the midsection, and that's starting to bother me. Though, I'd like to get to at least 170lbs before I cut (maybe higher, if I can stand the sight of me in the mirror!).

U r definitely gaining some great size. I know the feeling about the spare tire. That is where I hold most of my weight too if I gain a bit of fat.

Great work. You've gained very little fat.

Your bodyfat looks to be 12-13%. I wouldn't guess much higher than that, and certainly not 17%. You might be holding a bit on top of your abs and legs, but you're on the verge of really defined cuts everywhere else.

    Thanks, Gabrielle and mrelwooddowd!

@Gabrielle - Yeah, the spare tire weight gain area sucks. I feel like it feminizes my body shape. But I just gotta keep telling myself, "It's a means to and end! It's a means to an end!"

@mrelwooddowd - I like that bodyfat assessment! lol I just wish that when I sit down, I couldn't grab a fistfull of stomach fat.

12-13% seems low to me. 16-17% maybe. Arms got bigger (you can tell in your back shots), legs got bigger, your back is tapering into a V more. From the front your chest may have gotten a bit fuller but I see the least amount of change there.

That bf sounds pretty reasonable to me... I definitely feel that 16-17% weight in my waist.

I agree on my chest... it's slightly fuller, but it's definitely the part that's developing the least. I blame my somewhat improper benching form, which I've since adjusted. Hopefully, I'll see some progress because of that in the next few weeks/months.

    Thanks for the feedback! :

Just found some pics of me at 105lbs. Yikes! I looked like Skeletor!

Scary! How could I have ever let myself look like that?
