The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Exercise replacements

Hi. I'm new to weight lifting, and Im planning to work out at home. I got some tips of some exercises i could do, and I have started doing almost everyone of them, but there are a few that is impossible for me to do, cuz I dont have the equipment (I only have a bench press bench and a barbell and dumbbells).

These exercises are the squat and standing calf raises (cant do them, cuz i dont have a squat rack) as well as chins (don't have a bar to pull myself up with).

Can anyone give me some good replacements for these three exercises that mainly work the same muscle groups ? I'm looking for compound exercises that work as many muscle groups as possible (I've read that it's the best for mass increasing). I was thinking about overhead presses as a replacement for chins...Is that a good idea you think ?

    Thx in advance.

Might look into a pullup bar that hooks/hangs from your door. They are around 50 or 60 dollars I think.
