The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Finiding it hard to get thick wrists.

Does anyone have any way to get thicker wrists to keep them in proportion with my biceps and forearms?

You're pretty much stuck with them. Look on the bright side, thinner wrists make your muscles look bigger by comparison.

How much do you weigh and how tall are you? How big are your biceps and forarms?

What manowar said. Your wrists just aren't going to grow all that much. They are mostly bone and tendons.

    LOL torrok no.

Eating more does nothing for wrists. It's all skin, bone, and tendons. You can't make these things grow. You are stuck with the wrists you have. I know it sucks but look at the bright side... it makes your arms look that much bigger! I have small wrists as well.

mine have gotten bigger... i used to be able to wrap my other hand all the way down to the first knuckle now they wont even touch.

Something in there will grow with time. That or my wrists have gotten fatter, which is also an option.

I don't even want to go there.

I've got skinny wrists, but it makes my forearms look much bigger and better. They have got a little bigger with the weight I've put on, but not that much.

you do have a subcutaneous layer of fat there, but the amount of weight you would have to put onto the rest of your body just to get tiny bit more of thickness on your wrist is crazy. lol

Exactly. When I weighed 125 I could easily touch finger tips around my wrist. Now, at 250, I still can, but barely. So, adding 125 pounds only made my wrists about 1/4" bigger around.

I have tiny wrists and big calves for some reason. My ankles are bigger than most people I know and my calves, yet i never work them.

LOL! I'm a testament to Torrok's broken bone theory!

Broken fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, collarbones, feet, etc. Every spot has a thick lump instead of a smooth bone. Fun stuff!

not here, broke both wrists at the growth plate on a dirtbike... or off one rather. Anyway, I got puny 6 3/4 inch wrists...always been bothered by that.
