Jesse Marunde was a huge advocate of these and there is a current challenge over on the t-nation board for 20 rep squats. Have seen a lot of people doing them lately and decided to give it a go last night. Hit 365x20 in just a belt and TK sleeves at about 212 lbs bodyweight.
Anyone else out there who is using these as a regular part of their training program?
There was another LW strongman Adrian Gault who did close to a 300 lbs front squat x 20 beltless (but he did wear glasses).
Legs are sore today for the first time in a long time so figured that I would put this out there... might be something good to toss in every once in a while to shock your system. Time to go drink some more Maximus shakes
