For some reason I have a real hard time touching both elbows during floor press. My right elbow always lands way earlier. Why is this? Is one side just stronger? Does this happen to everyone?
Was happening to me. I just really focused on having both touch at the same time. Could just be one side is stronger. Maybe your grip is slightly off. Maybe one arm is a tad longer than the other.

Likely you aren't tucking your elbows evenly. You don't notice it on bench, but you will on floor press.
