bad idea to get a tattoo where the barbel rests on squats?

I've been wanting a tattoo of a crown of thorns I've had picked out for a few years now and i'm thinking of getting it this weekend. Problem is i want it on my upper center back right where the bar rests during squats. I don't have any now but in the past in workouts that were primarily all squatting I've got a small callus there. Does anyone else have a tattoo there and ever had a problem with it? I don't like using a pad because it sets the bar farther back than i like it...

Why not just go right above or right below where it sits?

I've never had a problem. I'd wait until it's fully healed before squatting though.

I have squatted hours after getting ink on parts where the bar lays and had no issues. It is more sensitive though for sure.

I'm not sure. It will be my first tattoo and I don't really know what the precaustions are. I'm worried because I've built up very tough skin to point of a calluss and/or rubbing off skin on this spot before. I just want to be sure that won't affect it.

The image I'm set on and the placement I actually came from a member on this site. I don't remember who but I recall seeing pictures of BCC and somebody else in a hotel room at the arnold classic posing off a back double bicep the other person had a tattoo up there.

the owner of the gym i lift at has a real big tattoo on his upper back right where he rests the bar. he's a 198 and squats 800, and it looks fine. it is a bit faded, but just because its a few years old. you'll be fine as long as you chill on the squats while its healing. do front squats or zerchers or something for awhile.

No I don't think. I tried to find it but couldn't. Hatred has that symbol I recall this being something that looked like a sun. Don't know.

It ain't coming off... I took a Dremel tool to my first tattoo because my girlfriend freaked out when she saw it. A lot of smoke and blood but the tat is still there after 20 years!
