We are doing presses with a bamboo bar and suspended kettlebells. You would not believe how hard the bamboo bar makes the movement especially with the suspended kettlebells!

I keep seeing more videos of lifters using kettlebells. Could someone explain some of the benefits of bench pressing with kettlebells & results too? I would like to add this Max Effort exercise to my own routine.

We did these when I went down too; kicked my ass haha. Ive been hanging plates off a regular bar lately, but it just isnt the same haha
i like doing them for higher reps...i messed my shoulder up doing triples with heavy suspended weight.
try it, its fun, and a great exercise. there is a video somewhere out there with Jay Fry doing a ton of weight, with the same setup Chris is using there.

Here is Justin doing a set. He is a very strong raw presser and I think his video shows how wild the exercise can be, especially on the 2nd to last rep.

You guys inspired me, keith, and rusty to do these. We only did it with a regular bar and two 25's hanging off each side by purple bands. It was ridiculous the amount of shaking the first few sets. After a couple sets we started to tighten up and get control of the bar. I'll post our videos soon.
