The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    How is my pace going?

I started lifting in March at a weight of 135lbs and im 5'9. and max bench at the time was about 115lbs. I also was only able to do regular dumbell workouts with 15-20lbs. As of last night(so you figure that is a time span of about 6 months) I am now up to 151lbs weight with a max bench of 170lbs. I am now able to do regular dumbell workouts with 35-40lbs. In the past few weeks ive really kicked it up in gear as far as hitting the gym a little more and eating more protien. I just wanted to know what you think so far as my accomplishments if i'm on a good pace. My new goal is to be at 160lbs weight by the end of October and we'll see what I can bench by then. Also would you say benching 170lbs while at a body weight of 151lbs is decent? Oh and i'm 22.(yah dont think that really matters, but why not)

Yeah man if you're benching more than your body weight of course that's good. As long you're adding more weight on the bar each workout, no matter how small the increase, it means you're getting stronger.
