The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    tate presses?

who does them.. and have they had a big impact on your bench at all? I've only been doing them here recently and like them alot.. today I was able to get a solid set of 6 in with 120lbs but Know I can get double that if I pushed it..

my main questions is if it's worth the time or should I stick to tricep extensions?

right now no idea.. i'm working with mid 300's doing doubles and starting a new program. I'd say right at or just below 400lbs. I'm going to try to get a video of the 120's next week when I do them again. For some reason i find the tate presses alot more comfortable to do than traditional dumbbell presses for some reason.

    That's about it.

I love them, myself. More traditional tricep extensions always hurt my elbows, but Tate Presses don't. My bench has always gone up when I've done them (and other tri work).

i throw them in every now and then, i feel they are a great tricep exercise.

i know Travis has a video of him doing them, and if you mimic they way he does them in the video, they are VERY easy on your shoulders.

I did them for quite some time around the beginning of this year and my bench jumped about 25lbs. Come to think of it, I probably need to start incorporating them more!
