wow, very impressive! looks like he had plenty left in the tank. what kind of numbers is he puttin up in comp?

posing routine took alot of work and practice to it looks like. thats the worst part about that sport for me. i love the diet, the challange... but getting on stage? having to 'pose' or choreograph something like that... not me.

very impressive. Even natural he looks like he could do some damage on the NPC (or similar Canadian?) level.

From what I can see, his best total to date is 800kg (1763lbs) with a 272.5kg squat (600lbs), 235kg bench (518lbs) and 292.5kg deadlift (644lbs). This was on May 31, 2008. He ended up bombing out at nationals but from reading his training log it sounded like his numbers would have been up. He did the bench-only at nationals (after he bombed out of the three lift) and benched 252.5kg (556lbs). I think if he can do that in a 3 lift competition he would take the bench record by about 20kg.

I think Greg is only about 5'4" which definitely makes him look bigger

Ah if Greg is 5'4" that would make sense since he is twice my size and I have to cut for a week to make 198 in the IPF!

Impressive lifts, I would love to deadlift 600 once let alone 10 times...
Success is achieved by doing a little more than you thought you could, and a lot more than anyone else.

That's so awesome to me. He uses crazy wide stance on deadlift though doesn't he? Isn't that what's called sumo stance?

600 x 10 and just a 644? what were his log numbers predicting? and a 275x 32 reps would be dam near a 518 bench raw.

Lol yeah his reps don't seem to match up with his contest lifts. I don't think he gets very much out of gear and he seems to ALWAYS train with high reps.
