    Weightlifting and voice?

Has anyone noticed any changes to their voice from weightlifting? I'm always interested in improving my voice (tonality, projection, volume, masculinity, resonance..), are any lifts good for that?

If you eat a lot and get fat, you will sound like Pavarotti probably.

He still asked a question, you might as well be a bit more respectful to him. He's just a beginner, like me.

He means does lifting change/deepen the voice, not what lifts deepen the voice. Being someone who usually has a higher pitched voice i sometimes wonder the same question. Not all of us have naturally deep voices ya know. Im a bloody countertenor for crying out loud.

Touche. One can hypothesize though, from the increased testoserone from lifting period, the voice will drop in pitch. In laymans terms: just keep lifting normal lifts and the voice will deepen by itself.

    Try throat curls.
I'll have to gain a bunch of weight just to be skinny, and then a bunch more to even look like I lift weights.

Wow, some of you guys are tools. He was wondering if anyone noticed a voice change while lifting which is could be a legitimate observation...

I don't know if there is a voice change. Look at Ronnie Coleman.
