The school I am currently going to has competative intermurals. I signed up for football. We were doing a RB v. LB drill and I was the LB. He was full speed and I was moving decently. Long story short, I dislocated my shoulder for the 3rd time ever. Went to the ER to have it set. I'm on loratab and robaxin but it doesnt do much for the pain.
It has never hurt this bad before and the doctor in the ER said that I should follow up with an orthapedic surgeon. (appointment already made) I'm not even thinking about working out right now, but I am worried about how long I may go without being able to do so.
Anyone ever been in a similar situation? If so, how long were you out? The nurse was kinda mentioning the possibility of a tear. How much worse does that make things?
Sorry to hear that. I've never had any serious injuries. Mine are basically old-man injuries now. Hang in there.
Give chalk a chance.
