I've decided to drastically reduce my sugar intake. I used to not really care what I ate or drank as long as I was getting enough calories however I realize now that if I keep consuming like I am its a fast track to the diabeetus and thats not good. I have recently looked up the effects of sugar and insulin sensitivity on lifting and the body but I cant really decipher the jargon. In the week since I've done this I feel allot better but I think if I can understand how the body reacts to sugar I can maxamize my results even more.
So can anyone explain Sugar and insulin sensitivity with respect to building muscle in plain english?
Im novice in this field but have you tried using dextrose with your creatine? That will help spike it.
