The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

how do you like your eggs?

Just was wondering how everyone cooked there eggs(or eat them raw). I know how the yolks have a lot of fat but i like to have about 5 eggwhites and 2 yolks.

I eat them in every single way possible, raw, scrambled, over-easy, etc.

Lately boiled eggs have been my favorite. Cook 4 in the morning. Eat 2 with breakfast, save the other 2 for a salad later on.

Fried sunny side up in olive oil... mmm.
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

If I'm in the mood to chow down I'll either fry or poach them. If I can't bare the thought of eating, I'll drink a half dozen whites.

    Great minds think alike...

Now that I think about it, 90% of my meals are drenched in olive oil. We just have litres of stuff.

Omlets are great, bell peppers, jalepenos, salsa, oh man that's greatness. I actually remember...I have some in the fridge at the station, I gotta go get those.

Anyway is good too, I'll go x3 and say cooked and in my belly.

Well I like my food to taste good, so the slimy raw egg thing is out for me, but I also know that raw egg whites contain avidin which avidly binds biotin reducing its bioavailibity. I am not sure if biotin deficiency is recognized as a clinical problem if a varied diet is consumed, but avidin is inactivated upon cooking, while biotin is retained. Since the cooked egg in all of its variety is so tasty, I wouldn't bother with the Rocky thing...

For quite a while I was hooked on this egg mcmuffin type concoction for breakfast. For Christmas I got my wife one of those Paula Dean Muffin Toaster and Egg Maker. Of course I really got it for myself. Anyways I would make two of these in the morning. It would be a 100% whole wheat english muffin, toasted, with an egg, slice of canadian bacon, and slice of 2% american cheese. I cannot remember the exact numbers but I tweaked it that for 2 it was about 500 calories with 40/40/20 macros. Tasted great and was easy as hell to make.
