Good work! I enjoy seeing people bench big raw #'s, as I've never done the shirt thing. Shirted is cool too though.
Remember, to get big, you have to get strong. The two are interconnected. Lift heavy, work hard, and size will come. Like night follows day. It works. Arnold

NICE! Now imagine what you would have been capable of without "More Than Words" playing in the background! Seriously, congrats on the PR.

I apologize if I overreacted, but you must understand that I have some lifters that like to post negative attacks towards me. So, sometimes I might overreact a little

That's the problem without face to face communication, bro. Things get misinterpreted. Just picture a pencil neck geek calling you a "pussy" right before your next PR attempt. Use me as motivation. LOL! Good lifting.

    That was an impressive bench

Good thing you don't bend your back like the Gateway Arch with your ass in the air like I see some tards doing (some of them are even on this site).

Umm....you should really do some research before you post ignorant comments like this. That whole arch thing...yeah, many of the strongest benchers use one. And, no, they are not tards! They've spent many more hours in the gym than you and know a lot more about what they are doing than you, too. J.T., sorry to hijack your thread, bud. Great lifting!

What they bench by arching their back they can't do in a normal bench press.

arching your back is legal in PL'ing meets so long as your butt is planted on the bench... so what do you consider a "normal" bench?

That's not the point, man. What they bench with a bench shirt they can't bench in a "normal" press, either. However, shirts are a part of the sport and so is an arch. I just think it is asinine to call them " 'tards" just because you don't agree with their bench form. Again, they've spent many more hours in the gym than you and know much more about what they are doing.

    Minimal arch.

Powerlifters use that insane arch as a technique to lift a lot of weight. I think it over-states their bench honestly. For example, a guy at my gym can bench 315 with that insane arch, but cant bench my max at 255 at minimum arch.

I find that hard to believe. And again, an arch is a part of the sport. If you don't like it, then don't do it. Again, though, don't call people " 'tards" because their bench form isn't what you would like it to be.

you can actually get another rep in there more easily. the reason i say tht is because by holding the bar above you for the 3-4-5 seconds that you did, you wasted energy that you could've used to get another rep in.

next time try getting focuse before lifting off, then go at it

    good work though
