The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I believe that when the body is strong, the mind thinks strong thoughts. Time spent away from the Iron makes my mind degenerate. I wallow in a thick depression. My body shuts down my mind.

Reach down between your legs and find a pair of balls. That's what it takes to lift big weights. Genetics is the weak man's excuse for why he sucks at life. Don't be that guy - RhodeHouse

I think the 208 pic looks really good.. you look like you've put on quite a bit of muscle though in the 231 pic compared to 208. What increase in fat have you noticed?

hehe... i was just asking thats all. I did something similar ish last year. Went from 200 to about 240 ... even though i packed on some fat i felt much better. Then i started to play football again and realised how much easier it was to run being smaller

Keep doing what ya doing, looks good and good luck in ya quest.

Good job man. How long did it take you to reach that weight from 160/170? I 'm starting my bulk at around 165 hoping to hit 200 in a few months.

Was this all in one bulk? Or were there cutting periods? If this was one straight bulk gj on not packing on much fat at all between 160/170 and 208. How was your diet here?

Your back looks beastly at 231. Im hoping to get back up to 200 soon enough, I love eating

this is over a 2year period at an estimate my memory's not the best.
I have cut twice but that was 1 year ago so from 190ish it was straight bulking.

You looked awesome at 208, but you're just massive at 230lbs. You have a small waist too and a nice v taper. Good work. All this without any supplements of any sort? That's amazing progress.

How tall are you? and How long was this bulk? I think BF asked a similar question above
"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education alone will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. Dude, like Jay Dub said, you have great potential. If you train seriously like you have been for the next 5 years you'll be a monster.

I'd like to see some pics in the future.

    Good luck with your goals.

I think the rest of the body is probably in line looking at some of your lifts. Honestly even from the lightest pics 160, until now you can tell you've got some good genetics for this stuff, be it bb or power stuff. Most impressive progress.
