The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    No motivation to bulk anymore?

When I began bulking almost 4 months ago, it was great. I always wanted to eat even if I wasn't hungry and had very good progress.

Now it's really hard to put down that amount of calories. It's not a lack of motivation in a sense that I'm being lazy because I still workout religiously but I just can't eat as much anymore.

    What gives?
    Suggestions?

Whenever I feel like not eating as much as I should, I go look at a mirror and see how skinny I am. That motivates me to stuff my face.

So go look at the mirror. Chances are that observing your own body will make you hate it and motivate your ass to eat.

    Good luck fellow bulker!

If your having a hard time getting your cals, try to chug em.

Add olive oil, natty pb, etc. to shakes, adds cals easily and you can chug it in seconds.

Skim - how much have you gained so far? Your body needs to stabilize sometimes. This year I have been as heavy as 227 lbs and as light as around 207 lbs, now steady around 215 lbs and feel the best at this weight - and also do not have to eat tons and tons of food to stay there.

If you were force feeding before then you may need to get comfortable at your weight right now and then get back onto a serious bulking program after a couple of weeks of normalization.

I agree with Tom. I've been as high as 267 and as low as 250 in the past 4 or 5 months. Right now my body has settled around 255 which is where I feel the strongest at.

Hummm.. Travis and Tom.. y'all got me thinking.

I've been busting my butt to get to 250, made it as high as 244, but generally hanging out around 236..

Maybe I should stabilize for awhile and see where I land.. my strength is still moving forward, so thats good.

Food for thought. ( couldn't resist the pun )
