    OLY bar vs non-oly bar

    I bench on two diffrent bars(depending on the gym). when i use the oly bar i can get a certaint amount of weight but when i use the non-oly bar(weighed around 15 lbs or somthing and has the little thing you twist on the ends instead of clips)i cant do as much? why is the lighter,thinner non-oly bar harder to bench with? its like if i make a gain on the non-oly bar i make a even bigger gain on the oly bar EX: benching 155x5 non-oly i can do 165-170x5 on the oly?
