I'm just curious what everyones thoughts are on this article:
Basically the article says you should master bodyweight exercises before moving onto weighted ones. Kind of hard to swallow, but I'm thinking about giving it a shot...I want to know what the effect will be on my lifts once I've mastered everything.
I tried one of the modified(easy) one-leg squats a couple minutes and I could barely do one.
Maybe I'll give this a shot and keep a journal. Anyway, what do y'all think?

I see the one leg squat as described in the article as more of flexibility training than strength training. Flexibility is always good ( and is something I personally am constantly working on ).
I'd agree on that one. I don't really see a need to work up to weights, there's nothing wrong with weight training from the beginning, unless your a young kid (under 13 or 14), then bodyweight exercises are very good, along with weight training. Younger than that and I don't think weight training would be a wise decision.
Give chalk a chance.
