I felt like the second lift was taken into the rack a bit too quickly. The Rhodemaster 5000 remedied that on the third. All in all a really good night considering I was sick with a cold most of the week. I think the Thanksgiving bloat helped a lot. Now I mcknow what to eat the day before a meet.

What did Rhodes mean when he said "hips"?

It always amazes me how fast the weights move when you press them, Vin.
So Rhodes reminds me to keep my hips up. I f'ing hate it. I have to unlearn what I have been doing for 15 years. Plus I feel no pop out of the hole, especially when benching raw. However, it's having a nice carryover on my equipped bench. I used to mcthrow the weight and basically catch it at the top. Now I am able to grind weight at the top where I was never able to before.

Thanks guys. I really feel like I am heading in the right direction. I have about 10 weeks until my competition so this is just the begining stage of the training cycle. I just have to keep reminding myself none of these numbers mcmatter until I put the weight up at the meet.
