    thyroid

    i was wondering what part your thyroid has in your body that would affect weightlifting besides metabolism.
    You cant buy strength, but you sure as hell can work for it

    I am hypothyroid and I take synthroid. It does not affect much unless I don't take my synthroid. I become very lethargic and tend to sleep a lot . It does have an affect and if you have thyroid issues you do need to see a doctor. As far as weightlifting if I don't take synthroid absolutely I am weaker and more tired in general.
