    book recommendation?

I read a book once called 01.01.00 by RJ Pineiro. It was a while back, but I think I remember it bring an o.k. read. I'm looking for a recommendation for something similar to read......something that entails ancient extra-terrestrials, ancient earthly (Mayans, Egyptians, etc.) civilizations, end of modern civilization as we know it type stuff. Any recommendations for something like this?

I would say Atlas Shrugged is a good one. I don't agree with the theories but it is powerful.

^ I was going to recommend that book because I love it but the OP said he liked ancient civilization stuff.

Does Star Wars count as ancient civilization stuff? A long time ago... in a galaxy far far away... I think so.

Fingerprints of the Gods was recommended on another forum. I think I'll pick that one up. Probably more conjecture than I'm interested in, but I'll give it a shot.
