Ok, so I ordered a Jump Stretch platform. Got the heavy blue bands, green bands and purple bands. I'm assuming I want to use the purple bands. I heard I have to quadruple them? How do I put them on the platform or loop them and how much is it going to be on the bottom and top of the lift when deadlifting? Thanks.
What is your deadlift max?
Most mortals use quadrupled minis or monster minis. Quadrupled purple(light) bands is ridiculous tension.
Minis quadrupled is supposed to add ~220 lbs at lockout.

So you bought the bands and a jumpstretch platform without really knowing how to use them? I have a couple of things I need if you're willing to buy them...
Thanks for the advice. My deadlift is 700 at 198, conventional style. I know how to use the bands, but was wondering how much tension they add at the bottom and top using the purples? I've used the Blue strong bands for reverse band pulls with blues hanging around 5'6" off a power rack. Loved them. Figure I want to add more speed at the bottom.
Get some 20inch bands from iron woody, they are great for deadlifting, you can double them and get tension at the bottom.
Yeah, you're going to need some lighter bands.
One day I attempted to pull with some green bands. I think my spine jumped out of my body.
quadrupled minis are more around 200 at the top. doubled minis would be much less.
green bands hit you all at once, at the lockout!
