I don't know anything about the routine, so maybe someone else should be giving you advice, but a 75 lb jump is huge for anyone other than someone at a beginner level. Are you getting it off of this website: http://www.powerpage.net/coanphildead.html and using their template? What routines have you tried in the past?

I've heard nothing but success stories from this routine, although I think the upper limit of gains is around 60#. What is your deadlift now and what is your goal?

I intend to use this program to get my deadlift up to 500 after I finish my 5x5 cycle.

BTW, here is a website that will program all 10 weeks for you:

That sounds pretty reasonable unless you are coming off of a layoff, plan on gaining massive amounts of weight, etc.

If you are able to bump your deadlift by 50 lbs in a matter of a couple of months that is HUGE.

    It should work like:

    Stiff-leg deadlift: 8 reps
    (rest 90 sec.)
    Bent over row: 8 reps
    (rest 90 sec.)
Underhand (reverse) grip lat pulldown: 8 reps
    (rest 90 sec.)
Arched back good morning: 8 reps
    (rest 2-3 min.)
    Repeat 2x

I think the program is good im using this program to get to a 800lbs by the end of the program. http://tsampa.org/training/scripts/c...lipi_deadlift/
Thats the site i got mine off of also, although i have to say the speed work is pretty extreme probally even harder then the actual work sets Lol.Overall i think its a great program.
