    rage x sizing

    Hey
just wanting opinions from those who have used stock single ply rage x shirts. How do you go for sizing? The sizing chart I have looked at says add 3 to your chest measurement and round up to an even number. My chest is 51". I got a size 54 and its huge- I can easily touch 400lbs.
Up till now I have used titan shirts and wore a size 48 F6 (there sizing recommends using the size that is the same as your chest measurement in inches- so for titan I should be using a 50 or 52 by their charts, but a 48 was perfect. So I'm wondering what an equivalent rage x shirt would be- maybe a 50?

    How much do you weigh?

Definitely, the shirt is too big!

Possibly a 50-52 but I'd be curious to hear how much you weigh as well.

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed a 54 would be that big on a guy who weighs 270lbs. could it be more that the chest plates fits right but the arms are not small enough?

I'm only 5'9. But as I said my chest is 51". A titan F6 is recommended as a standard fit for someone with a 48" chest, so I figure for an equivalent rage x I would be looking at something between a 50 or 52. I like PriestCometh's style, size 50!
Just interested to hear what sizing others go for with the rage x.
With my F6 I was touching around 490 and benching 560 in comp.

I am 5'9" as well and weigh around 270# give or take 52" chest. I wore a 54 double rage X at my last meet( weight 288#) and it was a bit big ( meaning it was not a big struggle to get on and I could touch about 75# under my max with the shirt riding high ) Now weighing 270# I have a 54 single I use for training and it is also big and I can touch light weights. I have found that if your 20% body fat or more you can wear a smaller shirt than a person with lower body fat that is solid. I could wear a 50 single at my present weight without a problem maybe a 48.

thanks for the advice- I have a 52 for my upcoming meet and I think I'll try a 50 after that.

it'll gangster it up quite a bit, but if you think you can handle it, yes you will get much more out of it

I have the same sort of question. I'm 5'9" and 190 lbs. with a chest measuement right around 43.5" cold. I'm looking at buying the Rage X and just wondering what a good size would be for me. Also, I use a wide grip with a high arch when I bench; so, is this a good sirt to look at or should I be going in a different direction? Thanks in advance for any help.

Probably a 42 or 44 depending on how tight you want it.
