    shoulder surgery

Has anyone had surgery for inflammed bursa in the shoulder? Did it make a difference.

I've had it for quite sometime. It comes and goes (after taking time off shoulder exercises). It's a mild pain right now, 1 out of 10. Anyway, I've had cortisone shots which is most effective.

I had that, troubled me for months. Still hurts from time to time, never had surgery but 3 cortisone shots took away the inflamation along with rotator cuff exercises and taking it easy. I heard theres a chance with surgery that it would make it worse, which i wasnt willing to do.
