i was thinking about buying some bands or chains but my lifts are all relatively low right now but getting higher regularly. im lifting for football so could bands still help me even if my lifts are still low but increasing often?
low like in how low? numbers for your bench, squat, and deadlift would help greatly.

im not really sure but i'd say they arent going to do much good unless you are reasonably strong already, like over 1200lbs raw, any one else? I know im definitely too weak for them.
one rep maxes are bench 185lbs, squat 285lbs, deadlift 370lbs pretty low but im only a freshman and just started seriously lifting about two months ago.

If you have been lifting for only two months, I would recommend focusing your efforts on your technique before you start throwing in chains and bands. Perfecting your form ad technique will pay you much bigger dividends in the long run. You have a long lifting life ahead of you and plety of time to incorporate different resistance things into your lifting

Just keep lifting hard and heavy. Bands will only screw you up at this point.
