I’ve seen a few videos of guys wearing wrist wraps while deadlifting. Do they help? Or is it simply a matter of feeling “normal”
It can help to lock in the grip by constricting the tendons in the wrist. Just make sure you make your attempt quickly after putting them on so as to not lose feeling.
aside from deadlifting, with squating or leg press do knee wraps or like an ace bandage help? because i'm getting up to the high 500's on the leg press and my knees feel almost unreliable or unstable.
thanks for the reply accuflex, but im not sure what your saying. Are you saying that that is not enough weight to need knee wraps or that my knees should be able to handle the weight if my quads can
only use knee wraps for heavy squats, if you really need to use them. But, personally I dont like to use them until its time to compete.
