    Video of my bench attempts from the Cell Block Classic

    1st Attempt 700#:

    2nd Attempt 740#:

    Got called on uneven extension and my butt comming off the bench. I pulled the collar down just a bit and the weight came off my chest a ton faster than I anticipated.

    This was a much better lift. I was very happy with it and am confident I left a good bit on the platform

    travis, good job on your lifts. i would have given the second one to you anyways. have a question for you- on the issue of the placement of your shirt. it looks as if your shirt collar is realatively high. do you always wear it this way ? i wear mine alot lower and was just wondering how it feels for you. the lower my collar is the more pop i get at the bottom. how ever you wear your shirt, your 740#'s looked great.. how soon till 800?

    You're exactly right, my collar is high. Reason is, I just don't need it that jacked yet. My plan is to slowly work my way up to 800 and beyond. If I get in a hurry and try and squeeze 100% out of the shirt right now, it just doesn't leave me much for the next meet. Plus, my technique isn't ready for 800+ yet. So if I keep slowly hitting PRs at each meet and slowly learning more each time, when I hit 800 it'll be clean, fast and I'll be ready for the next PR after that

    That's BS, I don't see the butt coming off the bench, there's no uneven extension. I can see the video with my own two eyes and can clearly tell by my internet judging skills that those judges are nuts.

    LOL I always grow my bear out and hair before a meet. Makes my jaw look a lot bigger haha. I've already scraped the beard and gotten a haircut.

    The judging was pretty tight. If you watch the left side, it does dip just barely but yeah I was surprised that I got called for it at the time, but watching the video, it was the right call.

    Judging was really spot on all day

    just bench only. I train squat and deadlift, but the bench is where my heart is at
