    Anyone workout at a planet fitness?

    Anyone here workout at planet fitness? How is it there? I'm thinking about checking them out i haven't been able to find a gym i liked since powerhouse closed up in my area.

    Isn't that the one with the meathead alarm or whatever they call it that goes off if you drop weights or grunt or something.

    If you just plan on doing cardio I guess it could be ok. They do not encourage weight trainer at PF gyms. You can get kicked out for lifting heavy weights.

    I heard they don't even have a free weight section. I think KarstenDD described it the best, lol.

    An alarm? Is there literally a really alarm in the gym that goes off?

    i'd go if one was nearby just to get kicked out. i'd do something like crossfit 'diane' (21-15-9 of 225# deadlifts and handstand pushups) or heavy cleans (there's no way i could do cleans and not drop weights and grunt) and see what happens. it would be awesome.

    Two guys should go in seperately, then one should drop some weight have the alarm go off, and the other guy drops some weight on his toe because the alarm startled him and made him drop the weight. Sue, win, split the cash.
