    am i doing something wrong?

    I took the advise of someone on the boards and started doing the workout routines put together by this site. I have been doing every excercise 3-4 days per week at 80 percent max bench, but I was reading a thred posted about usual workout sessions and people are putting up and average of 50 mins to an hour, but when I do the routines given by the site I only lift for about 30 mins, am I doing it wrong or something? I even took it to 3 sets of 10 instead of 2 of 6-8, please help

    Well, first of all, it depends on the routine your doing. SOme only take 30-45 minutes. Secondly, if it was a set routine, you should not be changing the sets and reps...

    Maybe you're not lifting heavy enough. Or if you're in a progressive routine, give it a few weeks for it to get heavy, and I guarantee your workouts will get longer as the intensity grows and you'll need more rest time in between sets.

    No one can give you a perfect routine. You have to find what works for you. That may be a 30 minutes session or 2 hours. Either way...if you are making gains then all is good.

    You might not be resting as much as the routine calls for, which means you're not lifting heavy enough weights.
