Yea i get the same thing from time to time.
It means massive amounts of blood was being pumped into your head at once.
Prob from heavy weight or a massive pump

If your head keeps hurting see a doctor.

In general it's a bad idea to get medical advice from internet forums.

Exercise-induced headaches are common in novices.

What else is there? Some people get headaches when they lift but they generally don't persist throughout one's career. If you can't kick yours, see a doctor.

I had one a while ago. The problem was that I held my breath while I pressed, and that really built up the inter-cranial pressure. It was so bad I had to leave. I finished out the week with no more problems after I started concentrating on breathing and haven't had a problem since. btw- theyre called exertional headaches.
