How long are your workout sessions?

Just curious as to how long some of your workout sessions are and how often you blast a bodypart. For getting big, that is. I've done lots of different routines over the years but now I'm sort of settled on chest/tri's, back/bi's, legs/shoulders, off, which is one of the basic routines I guess.

My workouts usually only last about 50 minutes. I don't fiddle around with the anything other than the basic mass-builders and I probably rest 2-3 minutes in between each set. Is that enough lifting time?

    Thanks all.

About 1.5hrs. I don't do much; my rests between sets are always 5+ minutes.

I don't bodybuild or lift for big numbers. I lift to stay in shape and get in better shape. My routines are about 60 minutes. I do about 16 lifts - 2 sets of each with little to no rest at all.

    50 mins - 2 hours

It all depends what I am doing and how much rest I take between sets.

    Love the response above.

To tell the truth, each person (as you can see is in the gym different amounts of time.) Some people Jaw jacking with others and some hittin' the weights hard. Also people have different levels of fatigue so you can't judge by others you should judge specifically to how your feel and your gains in the gym. That would be my advice.

I try to schedule about 1.5 hours and tend not to go any shorter. I will, on occasion, stay for 2 hours, but usualy that extra half hour is standing around talking.
