    Confused

    hi all

    iv been reading alot about weight lifting and to be honest im lost. I am a beginner and really wnt to get into to bulk up, but i have read so much i dnt no were to start lol. there is lots of great info on here and other places but it seems one person will say one thing and the next will disagree. i am also not sure as to which exercises that i should be doing to gain what i want. i have the time and im dedicated to put the effort in to get results but i just cnt seem to find a programme that i could follow to get me started. any help or advise would be greatly appreciated

    Any of the programs:
    Starting Strenght
    Baby Got Back (BGB)
    Wanna be big 1.1 ( WBB 1.1)

    If you use the search bar at the top of the page and type any of the following you will get plenty of results with information on all of these routines. If this doesn't sound like something you're interested in i'm sure if you look at any of the "how is my routine" threads, they have lots of useful information as well.

    As to what you need to eat inorder to get big?

    I would say..eat anything that's not attached to the floor.

    I'm not as familiar with BGB or WBB1.1 as Cards is, but that's good, solid advice. You could purchase the book Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe. Even if you don't use that program, he gives in-depth detail on how to do the big lifts.

    Anything will work for you at this point with some effort and consistency. Just do some research, pick a program, and stick with it for a while. Eat, lift heavy weights, see results.
