    dextrose

    i been looking at a lot of threads and have been seeing dextrose mixed with protein or creitine and i was just wondering what it does and how to get it thanx

    It is a sugar. It spikes insulin which is a storage hormon that causes the creatine/protein to be shuttled into the muscle. Atleast that is the theory. Grocery store, pharmacy, online, health food store, brewery store.

    i use that gatorade powder.. has dextrose in it

    powder powerade has dextrose in it without the high fructose corn syrup

    I take a post shake with dextrose,protein and creatine mixed in. Its pretty rough, but it does the body good.
