Which direction for a tall skinny bastard?

I am new here. I am recently starting to workout, this may or may not be the right forum, I know moderators are anal about threads being created in the right forum, but I need answers now rather than later.

Anyhow, I am 6'6", 210 pounds, about 8%('round about) body fat.

I know that a lot of you on here have been working out for years and years, and I have been lurking these forums for a few years, and I have finally come out of the closet.

Now, to the point. I need a workout routine, and eating routine that would fit someone of my stature. I am lean, not much body fat, mostly around the mid section, and have some pretty thin legs. If someone could point me in the direction of a few threads that would help me get started with the appropriate workout routine etc, that would be great. Whenever I get started up, I will be making a journal so you guys can help critique me. Thank you guys. Appreciate the help.

The program means nothing without the right attitude. What is your goal anyway?

You're not 8% bf if you have fat around the mid section. At 8%, there's no fat anywhere.

As far as eating, you need to eat a lot of good whole foods. There's a thread titled "what a bodybuilder eats" which would be a good start. As far as routine, there are lots of good premade routines floating around the net. If you have been lurking around this site for a while, I'm sure you know of a few. Pick one, stick with it and the gains will come.

My goal? Get as big as my body can allow me to get. Then cut, then bulk back up.I know it's a long and strenuous process, but I have my whole life ahead of me to accomplish it.

And about me having the right attitude.. I couldn't be more motivated.

Routines are not height specific. You train the same as the next guy.

If you have been around the forums for years as you said, you will have seen a million 'what routine should I do' threads. I have seen 5000 of them and I have only been here a few months You are no different than anybody else.

Select a pre made routine that is primarily made up of compound movements, eat plenty of food and squat your ass off. That should get you heading in the right direction.
This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy - George Bernard Shaw
