The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I watched this video and followed her advice.

To make the dancer go counterclockwise think about math. Do simple math problems in your head and she will turn counterclockwise.

Took me forever to get it to go counterclockwise. Had to concentrate on her back. I was trying to figure out why I was only seeing it clockwise and was rationalizing it. "Of course, look at her back and the way she is leaning back and to the right. Of course she is going clockwise, it is the only way she could be going." Right at that time, she started to go counterclockwise. As soon as my brain started to rationalize my inability to see it counterclockwise. Wierd.

Wonder if there is any correlation between left handed and right handed.

I'm left handed and by default saw it going clockwise.

Clockwise until I focused on the shadow...now I can only see counter-clockwise. Good mind-****.

Has anyone dissected this to see how it works?

I find if you want to switch, focus on the shadow, block out the rest of the body with your hand...the foot can go either clock-wise or counter clockwise...from there lift your hand to the other leg. For me it can cause the switch depending on whether I focus on the shadow going counter or normal.

Am I the only one who noticed it going counterclockwise first? I got it to switch, but I see it 90% of the time going counterclockwise.

I saw this at the museum of science in Boston. Some lady was giving a presentation on optical illusions. Wish I could remember her explanation...If anyone really cares, you could probably google it.

    This has been posted before.

I see it both ways. If you pause the video, then imagine her body the opposite way (ex. left leg out instead of right) as you currently see her, then play the video again and then she should be spinning the other way.

I can control it. Look at the foot that is on the "floor". When it touches the shadow it'll switch eventually. When the heels touch.

I was too busy looking at her boobs.

Then I saw it spinning both ways.
