does anyone take contrast showers? do they help much? what exactly do you do e.g. how long for each etc
I usually do if I am sore. It works for me. I usually just jump in the shower on cold and then alternate one minute hot, one minute cold. It is really just a matter of whatever works for you. However you may really not need to do this unless you get sore after you workout. So maybe after a heavy day try it and see if it does anything for you.
Never tried it, maybe i will if it actually gives some benefits...

ive used them when ive had seriously bad soreness (like the one time i couldnt straighten my arm past 45 degrees it was so bad). other than that i dont like to use extra therapeutic techniques too often so that my body doesnt get too used to them.
