The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    RESULTS and Eating Pre WO?

Usually before my WOs Ill have a bowl of oatmeal with a scoop of opticen and 2tbsps of peanut butter. How would you recommend eating before my WO and taking RESULTS?

    I was thinking
    1. Wake up @ 6am
    2. Drink RESULTS by 6:15
    3. Eat my oatmeal on the way to the gym (like usual)
    4. Working out by 7:00 -7:15

I didnt know if it made a difference acting on an empty stomach.

Chris would be able to give you the best answer but I have had Results immediately pre-workout and even during workout.

Oatmeal, peanut butter, and opticen would all take longer to break down so taking those first would make more sense and since the Results is dextrose it will break down more quickly.

Maybe try: Pre-workout Meal @ 6:30 AM, RESULTS @ 7:15 AM on the way to training.

    Thanks Tom!

My only concern about that was the directions on the bottle say consume 1 hour prior to training.

    I wrote those instructions

I did that more as a recommendation than an absolute. Daily use is much more important than timing. Eat as you see fit prior to training. Optimally, some carbs and protein pre-workout are an excellent choice, so RESULTS mixed with some Nitrean is what I do.
