    Does this sound like a sprain?

    So after a few too many brews last night, a friend and I decided to play shot-for-shot (I punch you in the arm, you punch me back, etc, until someone quits). We each hit eachother once and stopped lol

    By the end of the night my wrist was starting to hurt a bit. I woke up this morning and it really hurts. I can still bend it, have use of my fingers (though my grip feels extremely weak), and there's no bruising

    Does that sound like a sprain?

    Where did he hit you in the arm? If he hit you high up you shouldnt be feeling pain in your wrist. Unless you hurt it hitting him.

    Go get an x-ray - there are alot of small bones in the wrist and it is not uncommon to get what is called a "boxers fracture" when hitting someone

    Ice it and take an anti-inflammatory. It might clear up in a few days.

    You're damn right it sounds really stupid lmao. It sounded like a good idea at the time

    Thanks for the advice guys. Hopefully this rediculous injury doesn't screw my training for too long lol... looks like it'll be lots of safety squat bar work for the next little while
