    Starting Strength Question

I am currently doing a routine that was suggested to me on these forums and consists only of upper body work because I have a sprained knee and by the end of this semester I will be looking for a new routine. I was wondering if I would be a candidate for starting strength. I will have no strength in my lower body anymore and will have been lifting for 9 months (7 months of overtraining using an awful routine).

    Thanks in advance.
